About Me

Rajae is a multidisciplinary photographer based in Rochester, New York, specializing in a dynamic blend of portraiture, nature, and street photography.

In his portrait work, Rajae explores the intersection of personality and style, with a particular passion for fashion photography. His street photography is driven by a desire to reveal the inherent beauty in the everyday, capturing moments that are often overlooked or taken for granted. This practice is deeply rooted in community connection, as he uses his lens to build relationships and gain a deeper understanding of the people and areas he documents.

Rajae’s career demonstrates a significant ability to balance commercial excellence (including coverage for New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week) with local civic engagement. He was instrumental in the inspiration and launch of "How We Roc," a groundbreaking city initiative to compensate local photographers for documenting city-sponsored events. His work has been recognized with a gallery exhibition in Rochester City Hall.
